As the first recipient of the Berkeley-Münster Exchange Fellowship, I spent several months living and working in Münster while conducting research on contraceptive control movements and ethnonationalism in the early 20th century.

Managed team of 15-20 interns in designing and completing original research in the field of socioeconomic dietary disparities and food marketing, as well as writing IRB proposals, grants, manuscripts, research design, coding manuals and data management protocols under Dr. Marie Bragg.

Worked in a German speaking office researching bilateral investment between the US and Germany, Slovakia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. I also co-developed the company’s first Corporate Social Responsibility project.

Managed interns across office responsibilities and attended hearings and briefings on behalf of staff. I also assisted in drafting and editing correspondence for the senator’s Baha’i rights campaign.

One of thirty Pages selected to serve on the floor of the U.S. Senate, later selected as one of two Democratic Pages to run floor the floor while the Senate was in session. I organized daily operations on the floor and coordinated communications across offices and lawmakers.
